Marc Ruppel works for the National Endowment for the Humanities Division of Public Programs. He holds a Ph.D in Textual and Digital Studies from the University of Maryland College Park. His dissertation, titled ‘Visualizing Transmedia Networks: Links, Paths, Peripheries’ , explores the possibilities of network or graph-based analyses of transmedia practices, particularly as they relate to the interconnected development of fictional narratives and the media and modes that support them.
