I’m an assistant professor in the department of Communication/Journalism at St. John Fisher College and the director of the program in Digital Cultures and Technologies. My research interests include Internet memes, the intersection of parenting and social media, and the use of educational technology (and social media) in the college classroom. The courses I teach include Emergent Media and Web Culture, Web Design and Advanced Web Design, Digital Media.Social Media, Introduction to Media Computing, and Introduction to Mass Communication. I have a BA from the University of Rochester in FIlm Studies and Psychology and an MS from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Information Technology.
